Ice, Ice, Baby is a series of hands-on activities, designed for K-8 students, which are easy to prepare and simple to teach. The scientific principles of properties of ice, displacement, pressure and density are taught through information about the polar glaciers and icebergs.
(for teachers) Computer-based, technology activities, designed for 9-12 students. Explore atmospheric CO2 concentrations, glacier mass balance, sea level rise, and other topics related to climate change.
CReSIS Pieces activities are short activities which can be used as hooks or extensions to science lessons. These simple lessons demonstrate the principles of water properties, displacement, remote sensing and decomposition.
