2012 CReSIS Middle School Program

During the summer of 2012, selected middle school students worked with an Elizabeth City State University team mentor on projects which involved learning the fundamentals of earth science. Our CReSIS Outreach Coordinator, Cheri Hamilton and Teri Fulton, K-5 Science Coordinator for Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools taught hands-on lessons about ice sheets and glaciers. The students made their own goo chutes and inquiry lessons. Their published work can be found in the following slide shows.
